Wrapping Paper Beads

Save wrapping paper scraps and upcycle them to create unique beads and jewelry!
Materials
- 25 Pack Assorted Paint Brushes
- Plastic Pearls White
- Wrapping Paper
- Decoupage Glue
- Coffee Stirrer
- Scissors
Instructions
Step 1. Gather your supplies.

| Step 2.
Cut 8” long strips of paper into a wedge, as shown. The top should be 1” long and the bottom should come to a point. |

| Step 3.
Brush decoupage glue on the top of the wrapping paper. |

| Step 4.
Wrap the thick end of the wrapping paper around the coffee stirrer until you are rolling with ease. |

| Step 5.
Pull the coffee stirrer out and continue rolling until the piece is completely rolled. |

| Step 6.
Hold the piece together and cover the bead in decoupage glue. Set aside to dry. Repeat Steps 2-6 until you have all the beads you want! |

| Step 7.
Measure the size of your wrist before cutting the white elastic cording. |

| Step 8.
Add an end closure to one end of the cording and then start adding your beads. We did a pattern of two wrapping paper beads followed by a pearl. |

| Step 9.
When you are done stringing your beads, tie the lobster clasp onto the end of the cording. |
