- Friendship Thread Basic Colors
- Paint Dab Markers
- Coffee Filters
Step 1. Gather your supplies.
Step 2.
Fold a coffee filter in half and draw half of a heart.
Step 3.
Cut along the half heart you drew and unfold.
Stamp a large red spot in the center of the heart using a red paint dab marker.
While the red paint is still wet, stamp on the edges and around the spot with a yellow paint dab marker.
Step 6.
Continue this process with the blue paint dab marker until the coffee filter heart is covered.
Step 7.
Make as many hearts as you’d like to hang. Punch a hole in the top center of all the hearts.
Pull a loop of black friendship thread through the hole of the heart, as shown.
Pull the heart through the loop.
Pull the two thread ends until the loop is a secure knot. Repeat steps 8-10, a few inches apart, until all of your hearts are hung on the string.
On each end of the friendship thread create a loop so it is easy to hang.
