Step  4.

Paint over your sketches! To make your colors extra vibrant, add a second layer of paint once the first coat dries — don’t forget to wash off your paintbrush before changing colors!

  • TIP: If you’d like to refine your paint strokes, use markers to outline them!

Step  6.

Give your canvas that warm & fuzzy feeling! Bend & twist any color fuzzy stick to create soft, dimensional accents for your words — glue them anywhere on your canvas and let them dry completely.

Step  7.

Embroider it! Use a large embroidery needle to pre-poke holes wherever you’d like to add thread to your canvas. Then, thread the needle with any color friendship thread & tie a double knot at the end. From behind the canvas, press the needle & thread through the hole and gently pull until you reach the knotted end. When you’re finished, tie a knot at the end of the thread!

  • TIP: Try not to pull your threads too hard while you embroider, so you don’t tear the canvas!
