After you create your groundhog, attach it to a jumbo craft stick.

Cover a paper cup with craft foam or construction paper. Leave an inch or two at the top to cut fringes to make it look like grass!

Ask an adult to make a slit in the bottom of the paper cup. Slide the end of the jumbo craft stick into the slit. Move your groundhog up and down to disappear, then reappear! Did he see his shadow!?
