Personalize any attendance board or locker with colorful nameplates!

  • Off Script: Give students free rein to write their name however they’d like! Inspire them to express their artistic style and share their personality on paper. What embellishments will they choose to enhance it?
  • Stay Connected: Along with fine motor skills, this craft will help students practice social skills! Separate the class into small groups during craft time — then get the conversation going with questions like “What’s your favorite game to play?” or “If you could invent anything, what would it be?”

Attaching magnets to the nameplates makes this craft versatile — use it as an icebreaker! Place all the nameplates on the board, then have each student come up, choose one, and hand it to the person it belongs to — it’s the best way to learn everyone’s names the first week of school!
