Leprechaun’s Pot of Gold

Form a leprechaun out of clay then stick him in a crafted pot of gold.
Materials
- EZ Grip Paint Brushes, 5 pack
- Rainbow Fuzzy Sticks
- Acrylic Paint Jars, 24 Assorted colors
- Mini Craft Sticks
- Oven Bake Clay
- Scissors
- Craft Glue
- Paper Cup
- Foam sheet - green
- Pencil
Instructions
Step 1. Gather your supplies.

| Step 2.
First, let’s create the clay Leprechaun. Roll some tan colored clay into a small ball for the head and add a neck shape as shown. Tip: Use the included clay tools to blend clay pieces together to secure the shape. |

| Step 3.
Add a small round nose, tiny blue eyes and a tiny black mouth. Coil small pieces of orange clay and attach to the face as a beard and on top of his head as hair. |

| Step 4.
Create pointed ears out of tan clay and apply to each side of the Leprechaun’s head. |

| Step 5.
Make the Leprechaun’s jacket by creating a thick rectangle out of green clay. Add small green triangles for the collar. Use a clay tool down the front of the Leprechaun’s jacket to complete the effect of a jacket. |

| Step 6.
Use green clay to form the Leprechaun’s arms and add tan colored hands. Attach the arms to the Leprechaun’s body using your clay tools to smooth the pieces together. |

| Step 7.
Attach the Leprechaun’s head to his body by adding a small amount of green clay to the back and front of the collar. Smooth the parts together with a clay tool. |

| Step 8.
To create the Leprechaun’s hat, roll a piece of clay into a small ball and flatten it into a pancake shape for the brim. Attach a short cylindrical shape to create the top of the hat. Finish with a black band and a yellow button. Attach the hat to your Leprechaun’s head with your clay tools. |

| Step 9.
Complete his outfit by adding yellow buttons down the front of the jacket. |

| Step 10.
Before you bake your clay Leprechaun, you will need to create the hole where a Mini Craft Stick will be inserted later. Insert the sharp end of your clay tool into the bottom of the Leprechaun’s body to start the whole. Remove tool. Then insert a Mini Wood Stick to create the shape needed later. Remove stick. |

| Step 11.
Bake your clay Leprechaun per the directions on the clay packaging. Once your Leprechaun has baked and cooled down, add a dab of glue to the end of a Mini Craft Stick and insert into the bottom of the Leprechaun. Paint the craft stick green. |

To create the base of the Leprechaun’s pot, click here. Once the paint is dry, use the tip of the glue bottle to write the phrase “Pot of Gold”. |

Use your Glitter Caddy to cover the letters with gold glitter. |

| Step 14.
To create the rainbow handle, first draw and cut a 4-leaf clover out of a green foam sheet. |

| Step 15.
Cut a 2-inch piece of green Fuzzy Stick and glue to the back of your clover. Allow to dry.

Cover the clover in glue and sprinkle on green glitter. Allow to dry.

| Step 17.
Cut a 3 1/2 inch piece of Fuzzy Stick in each of the following colors: red, yellow, green, blue and purple. Coil the ends of each Fuzzy Stick. |

| Step 18.
Twist the glittered 4-leaf clover around the rainbow Fuzzy Stick pieces to make one handle. Secure clover with a dab of glue. |

Glue rainbow handle to the top of your pot on two sides. |

Glue your Leprechaun on a stick into your Pot of Gold. Fill pot with gold foiled covered chocolates and surprise a friend with this tasty Pot of Gold project!
