Materials
- Acrylic Jewels Assorted 5mm
- 25 Pack Assorted Paint Brushes
- Craft Glue
- Optional: Decoupage glue
Instructions
Step 1. Gather you materials.
Step 2. To create the Christmas tree card, collect 6 medium heart shapes, 1 small heart shape and 1 small butterfly shape. Apply glue to all the heart shapes with a foam brush and add green glitter. Apply glue to the butterfly shape and apply gold glitter. Set aside the shapes to dry.
Step 3. Once dry, if desired, apply a second coat of decoupage glue on top of the glittered shapes. This will help prevent the glitter from rubbing over the shapes when sent in the mail.
Step 4. Fold a piece of red construction paper in half to form a card.
Step 5. Turn the hearts upside down and arrange them on the folded card to form the tree shape shown. The smallest heart should be on the bottom as the truck stump. Place the butterfly shape upside top at the top as a star. Glue in place.
Step 6. Glue small acrylic jewels onto the tree to decorate it for Christmas! Once dry, send your card to a loved one!
Step 7. To create the wreath card, collect 8 large butterfly shapes and repeat Steps 3 and 4 to cover in green glitter. Set aside to dry. Apply a coat of decoupage glue to prevent the glitter from falling off.
Step 8. Fold a piece of yellow construction paper in half and arrange 4 butterflies as shown, gluing into place.
Step 9. Arrange the second layer of butterflies as shown, glue into place.
Step 10. Glue red small acrylic jewels onto the wreath as berries and complete with a bow design from a gold glitter stick. |
