Glitter Fireworks Scene
Create a beautiful fireworks celebration scene using Neon Glitter and a city silhouette!
- Paint Brushes Triangle Handle
- Acrylic Paint Jars Primary
- Construction paper (black, blue)
- Scrap paper
- Craft Glue
- Glue Stick
|Step 1. Gather your supplies.
Draw a skyline design on a piece of black construction paper and cut it out. If desired, download our “template” by clicking the template button.
Use a glue stick to attach the buildings to the bottom edge of your blue construction paper background.
Use a pencil to lightly draw some fireworks in the sky. Tip: Draw a small dot and make lines coming out from that dot.
Lightly outline a small set of fireworks with the craft glue. Apply the glue as thinly as possible. Tip: It’s okay if the glue stream breaks up, that will enhance the look of the fireworks.
Pour Glitter onto the glued area. If it pours outside the glued area, it’s okay! The glitter will only stick to the glue.
Gently shake the glitter off the picture onto the scrap paper.
Use the scrap paper to funnel the extra glitter back into the container. You might need the help of an adult for this step!
Repeat Steps 5-8 with different colors of Glitter. You can add lots of fireworks in the sky using all the colors in the Glitter Caddy!
Once you are finished with the fireworks, use Yellow Paint to add windows in the buildings.
Display your masterpiece!
