Constellation Lantern

Upcycle a large milk carton to create a lantern that illuminates some of the most well known constellations!
Materials
- 1″ Foam Sticker Letters
- Large Milk Carton
- Black Construction Paper
- Scissors
- Large Thumbtack & 2 Small Thumbtacks
- LED Lights
- Craft Glue
Instructions
Step 1. Gather your supplies. | |

Cut off the top of a large milk carton, as shown. |

| Step 3.
Flip over the milk carton and cover it in black construction paper. Be sure to keep the bottom open. |

Download, print and cut out the provided templates. To download the templates, simply click the “Template” button above. |

| Step 5.
Place one of your templates on one side of the carton. Hold it in place with two small thumbtacks, as shown. Using the large thumbtack, poke a hole through each black dot. Repeat this step for all four templates. |

| Step 6.
After you poke the holes through each side, spell out which constellation it is using foam stickers. |

| Step 7.
Using the templates as a guide, connect the dots using glow in the dark glitter glue. Make sure you don’t cover the holes! Tip: If you accidentally cover a hole with glitter glue, simply use the large thumbtack to poke through the hole again. |
