Clothespin Giraffe

Use wood clothespins and recycled materials to create a long legged giraffe!
Materials
- 25 Pack Assorted Paint Brushes
- Acrylic Paint Jars, 24 Assorted colors
- Rainbow Poms Assorted Sizes, 100 pieces
- Wiggly Eyes 10mm
- Wood Clothespins
- Cardboard Tube
- Scissors
- Craft Glue
Instructions
Step 1. Gather your supplies. | |
Step 2. Cut a cardboard tube into 3 pieces: large (neck), medium (body), small (head), as shown. | |
Step 3. To assemble the body of the giraffe, follow steps 2-13 of the Recycled Pony Sculpture. *Omit step 12. Add another set of clothespins to make the legs longer on your giraffe, as shown. | |
Step 4. Stuff a large yellow Pom in the opening for the head and another in the body. Add glue to secure the poms in place. | |
Step 5. Paint the giraffe with acrylic paint. Tip: Use the large foam brush to easily make the spots. | |
Step 6. To finish the giraffe, add hair and tail using Fuzzy Sticks and glue on Wiggly Eyes. | |
