Candy Corn Pumpkin
Use Simply Spray® Project Paint and a simple masking technique to create a candy corn themed pumpkin this fall!
- Pumpkin (real or fake)
- Painter's or Masking Tape
- Cardboard or drop cloth to protect your surface
- Wet cloth or paper towel
Step 1. Gather your materials.
Step 2.
Use cloth to wipe dust and dirt off the pumpkin and lay on a protected surface.
Step 3.
Wrap painter’s or masking tape around the pumpkin’s stem.
Step 4.
Measure pumpkin into three horizontal parts: the top section should be smallest and the bottom section should be largest. Use painter’s tape to cover the middle section.
Use white Simply Spray® Project Paint, to cover the top section of the pumpkin. Set aside to dry for 30 minutes.
Step 6.
Using yellow Simply Spray® Project Paint, to cover the bottom section of the pumpkin. Set aside to dry for 30 minutes.
Step 7.
Remove the painter’s tape from the mid-section of the pumpkin to reveal the white, orange, yellow candy corn pattern on your pumpkin!
As our pumpkin was already orange, we did not need to paint this section. You can also use fall gourds and other fall colors of project paint for unique designs!
