Instructions

Step 1. Gather your supplies.

Step 2.

Paint a ceramic pot a bright color. We chose yellow! Set aside to dry.

Step 3.

While the pot dries, let’s make our flowers! Cut a (2) fuzzy sticks into (5) 4” pieces.

Step 4.

Place a large button on your workspace, with the concave side facing down. Insert each end of a fuzzy stick from Step 3 into two separate holes.

Step 5.

Using another fuzzy stick from Step 3, place one end of the fuzzy stick into a hole with the previous fuzzy stick and put the other end into an empty hole.

Step 6.

Repeat Step 5 with the remaining fuzzy sticks from Step 3. For the final fuzzy stick, it will be put into two holes that already have two fuzzy sticks, so it may take a little elbow grease!

Step 7.

Flip over the flower and make sure all the fuzzy sticks came throughthe holes. Fold them over to secure.

Step 8.

Glue a smaller button in the middle to cover the ends of the fuzzy sticks.

Step 9.

Cut 3 dowels into different sized pieces, as shown. We plan on making (6) flowers and we want them to have different length stems!

Step 10.

Paint the dowels green.

Step 11.

Once the dowels are dry, glue them to the back of the flowers.

Step 12.

Wrap half of a green fuzzy stick around a dowel and remove.

Step 13.

Take the curled fuzzy stick from the previous step and attach it to the stem of your flowers.

Step 14.

Repeat the previous steps to complete all of your flowers!

Step 15.

Set aside your flowers and grab your dry painted pot. Glue buttons of various sizes sporadically around the pot.

Step 16.

Using glitter glue, add petals to some of the buttons to create flowers!
