Personalize this ABC craft with the letters that spell your name!

  • A Beads C: After your students trace and cut their first name initials, brainstorm other words that start with the same letters. Search through the alphabet beads to find each one, then spell it out on the paper or foam letter!
  • Unique Names: Where do names come from? Go around the room and give your students a chance to explain the origins of their first names. Is it a family name? Was it inspired by someone famous? Does it mean something in a different language?

Once everyone’s letters are complete, use them to create an interactive alphabet song! As the class sings the ABCs, the students with the corresponding letter will stand up and wave their craft when it comes up in the song. Practice makes perfect!
