No Sew Fuzzy Snow Owl
Did you know that a snow owl’s white coloring helps hide itself in its arctic home? Create your own no sew owl at home and make the perfect pal for winter!
Step 1. Gather your supplies.
Fill a small white sock with batting and a ½ cup of dry rice or beans then secure with a rubber band. The rice or beans will help the owl stand. Add a dab of glue to the knotted rubber band to secure.
To make the eyes, create a coil at each end of a white jumbo fuzzy stick.
Glue a wiggly eye onto each coil and glue onto the front of the sock body to begin the face. Add a triangular piece of foam sheet for the beak.
Wrap a jumbo white fuzzy stick around the bottom of the sock and secure with glue. Cut a white jumbo fuzzy in half and bend each end up slightly. Glue to the top of the owl’s head.
To define the head, wrap a black and white jumbo fuzzy stick around the neck and secure with glue. Create a coil with a white Fuzzy Stick and glue to front of the sock body as the stomach.
To make a wing, coil and bend 2 regular sized white Fuzzy Sticks to create a wing shape.
Glue 4 white Feathers onto this shape then glue to the side of the sock body. Repeat to create a second wing.
Finish your owl by adding triangular claws cut out of orange foam secure with glue.
